Is the 6.7 Power Stroke reliable?
I am comparing Ford Super Duty listings with the 6.7 Power Stroke and want to know whether high-mileage trucks are still worth considering.

The 6.7 Power Stroke can be a strong used-diesel platform, but reliability depends more on maintenance history, emissions-system condition, fuel-system history, cooling health, and how the truck was used than on the badge alone. A cleaner buy has documented oil and fuel-filter service, no unresolved warning lights, clean cold starts, stable temperatures, normal transmission behavior, and no signs of heavy tuning without supporting parts. When shopping, compare model year, mileage, idle time, towing setup, rust, service records, and recall history. Walk away from trucks with vague maintenance claims, unexplained coolant loss, fuel contamination history, hard starts, or sellers who cannot explain previous repairs.
